Pilgrim’s Progress- First published in 1678, Pilgrim’s Progress has achieved global-acclaim with translations in more languages than any other book in history other than the Bible. Written by Puritan author John Bunyan during his imprisonment for conducting religious services not sanctioned by the Church of England, it is the story of Christian—a husband and father who leaves his family and doomed city to begin a journey toward the Celestial City. Accompanied by messengers and fellow pilgrims, Christian faces many obstacles along the way.
CrossTV and host Mark Kielar bring the iconic book to life in this docudrama of the same name shot on location in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
