About

This guide to family and faith-based media is my view of what you can see on TV and on-line. I am looking for those programs that will encourage and build up our faith; as well as, entertain us.  You will find weekly guides for programs, documentaries, specials, and webcasts.  Access links for networks, clips, and on-line resources in the footer.

I have played a part in making and distributing Christian television programs for over 40 years. From Mt. Pisgah, I look out for those programs that will bring hope to people across the land.

I was born into a wonderful family in the mountains of western North Carolina, christened in the Methodist Church, baptized in a Bible Church, developed my media skills at the University of Florida, discovered the gifts of the Holy Spirit in a Pentecostal ministry, found a place to worship in the Lutheran Church, exercised my calling in a worldwide Catholic charismatic ministry, and am spending time daily drawing closer to God as a part of the body of Christ. Echoing the title of Tom Wright’s book, “I am Simply Christian”. You can read more about my professional life here.

My wonderful wife of 42 years is my best friend and my two boys are my greatest joy.

With this blog, I will direct you to media content that is uplifting and well produced. The title comes from the name of the mountain in North Carolina from where I view the world. It is the same name as the mountain where Moses looked out over the Israelite’s promised land.

Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the LORD showed him the whole land…Deuteronomy 31:1

In Hebrew the word “Pisgah” means “cleft” which is derived from a word that means “to cut up, i.e. (fig) contemplate, consider.”
